What this journey covers

Athens has time for the Acropolis, its museum and Plaka, while consecutive nights in Santorini avoid repeated island changes and luggage handling. The caldera, Oia sunset, Akrotiri, vineyards and free time all receive a comfortable stay, with transport and sea activities adjustable to date and budget.

Day by day

  1. Day 1

Arrival in Athens | Land without rushing

    Airport - Athens

Meet the confirmed flight and transfer to accommodation booked independently or quoted separately. No fixed attraction is forced into the arrival day: an early landing may allow a short Plaka walk or city viewpoint, while a late landing goes directly to rest so the journey begins properly the following morning.

  2. Day 2

Classical Athens | Acropolis Museum and Plaka

    Athens

Climb the Acropolis in the morning to visit the Parthenon and Erechtheion. Continue in the Acropolis Museum for sculpture and architectural finds from the Sacred Rock, then spend a slower afternoon in Plaka and the surrounding landmark streets. Licensed guiding is provided only when separately confirmed in writing.

  3. Day 3

Ferry to Santorini | From the city skyline to the caldera

    Athens - Santorini

Travel from Piraeus on the ferry company, vessel, port, fare class and sailing time confirmed in writing, with port transfers included only where listed in the quotation. Keep the arrival gentle and allow the first view of the Aegean and caldera to open the island section without a rushed sightseeing list.

  4. Day 4

Oia and Fira | White villages and an Aegean sunset

    Santorini

Enjoy the caldera and cliff views from Fira or Imerovigli, then enter Oia’s white lanes, cave houses and blue-domed churches. The sunset location is selected around season, traffic and guest preference, with Oia, Imerovigli and quieter viewpoints among the options.

Inside the Caldera | Cruise, thermal waters or a full free day

    Santorini

Choose a shared boat towards Nea Kameni’s volcanic terrain and the thermal waters by Palea Kameni, upgrade to a catamaran cruise, or retain a completely free day. Vessel type, boarding port, meals and transfer coverage are included only as written in the final confirmation.

Akrotiri | Find the prehistoric Aegean beneath volcanic material

    Santorini

Walk through the prehistoric settlement of Akrotiri, where multi-storey buildings, streets and drainage were preserved by volcanic material. Continue, according to season and access, to a Red Beach viewpoint, a black-sand beach or a winery, where Assyrtiko can introduce the relationship between vines, wind and volcanic soil.

  7. Day 7

Ferry back to Athens | Keep room for transport variability

    Santorini - Athens

Return to Piraeus on the confirmed ferry and verify the island and Athens port transfers separately. If the arrival time allows, keep the evening free for shopping or a seaside meal. When weather or ferry disruption occurs, protecting the next day’s international connection takes priority.

  8. Day 8

Departure | Plan the final transfer properly

    Athens - Airport

Set the collection time from the international flight, luggage volume and accommodation location, leaving realistic time for Athens traffic and airport procedures. Extensions, tax-refund assistance or additional city services require separate written confirmation before departure.
